Description

Professional blues tone starts with pickups made based on the foundation of the original pickups. Alnico II magnets and original ’50s Heavy Formvar magnet wire wound according to original winding patterns with vintage techniques…this yields authentic 50s Strat® tone worthy of the original guitar heroes and chased after by the artists of today.

These pickups are very warm with that bell chime, quack and original ’50s tone! Warm, very warm! Vibrant with a nice tight bottom end. Perfect high end with to deliver punch, power with clarity and just the right amount of top end. Not piercing but driving with rich tone, luscious and flavorful. The mid range is lightly season, only for a slight, very slight, touch of thickness. The mid range is near transparent, not scooped, but only noticeable to enhance the overall ’50s experience. The bottom end is punchy, tight and holds the ’50s vibe together in a bold, rich and meaty way.

These pickups are every bit the tasty nugget that blues, vintage rockers and traditionalists love! Hand crafted for supreme quality and tone in the USA.

Used to be in the used guitar business (upper end) and I have owned/played a LOT of guitars. I put a set of these in a Mexican standard strat and am still gobsmacked by the difference in sound. Rich creamy tone clean or with some crunch, beautiful full sounding overdrive for blues or rock. Stop reading this and go buy some- you will not be sorry.
